Abaca
Abaca is the strongest natural fiber, coming from the Philippines.
The tree looks like a banana tree. Abaca is salt-water-resistant.
2 colours are in this fiber : the clear one comes from the interior of the tree,
the dark brown from the exterior.
Buri
Buri is one of the three fibres from the biggest palm in Philippines.
Raffia and Buntal are also obtained.
Wicker
The PE (Polyethylen) for Outdoorfurniture is UV-resistant and waterproof (even salt or chlorine water).
It resists high temperatures, microorganisms and body cremes !
PE is extremely easy to handle. It is made by DEDON, german high quality company.
